National Colours
MPSA are very competitive and
produced a number of competitors who earned there national colours.

Special achievements
At the Handgun World Shoot XIX
in Thailand in 2022 the South African National production optic senior team achieved third place overall and won bronze medals.
Jean Engelbrecht and
Hendrik Engelbrecht was from our province.
It was the first time in history that members from our province won any medals at a World Shoot.

Our Handgun Standard Division Team, consisting of Justin Peacock, J.C. Potgieter, Kyle van Deventer, and Johannes van Biljon, made history in 2022 by winning the
Racing Snake Trophy with a first-place finish in the Standard Division. This marked the first time that MPSA secured this prestigious trophy.
In 2025, our Standard Division Team won the trophy once again. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement and for continuing to make MPSA proud.

Irving Stevenson received his national colours and represented the Rifle Open Grand Senior Team at the Rifle World Shoot III in Finland in August 2024.
He delivered an outstanding performance, earning a silver medal in the Semi-Auto Division, overall Grand Senior category. Congratulations, Irving -
we in Mpumalanga and across South Africa are very proud of you.
This is an especially historic achievement, as Irving is the first and only MPSA
member to win an individual medal at a World Shoot.
Congratulations to Irving Stevenson for representing South Africa at the Shotgun World Shoot IV in Pattaya, Thailand, from
December 3-10, 2023.
With over 700 competitors from around the globe competing at the THPSA range, Irving's outstanding
performance in the Open division, Grand Senior category, earned him the silver medal overall. We are very proud of you, Irving!
It was the first time in history that all the South African shooters stood together on the podium to receive every medal. An unforgettable moment of pride for South Africa and a remarkable achievement
for the shooters.

Irving Stevenson proudly received his national colours
and represented the Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) Optics Grand Senior Team at the PCC/Mini Rifle World Shoot I, held in Znojmo, Czech Republic, in May 2025.
He
delivered an outstanding performance, earning a bronze medal in the Optics Division, Overall Grand Senior category. This is a remarkable and historic achievement,
as Irving has once again secured an individual medal at a World Shoot — a testament to his enduring skill, dedication, and excellence in the sport.
We in
Mpumalanga and across South Africa are incredibly proud of you, Irving. Your success continues to inspire and bring honour to our country.

to Andrea Stevenson on receiving her national colors to represent the South African PCC Optics Senior team at the World Shoot!
Kudos to the entire team for
bringing home the well-deserved gold medal. Well done, ladies!
Andrea is the first and only female shooter in MPSA history to receive national colours, and also the first and only lady to bring home a
trophy from the World Shoot. This is a truly outstanding achievement and a proud moment for MPSA.

Shoot XX, 2025 in South Africa.
Hendrik proudly represented South Africa in the Production Optics Super Senior team, bringing home
